Marian Walsh is a seasoned and results-driven Project Management Director with over seventeen years of international experience in the development and construction industry. With a strong foundation in both strategic planning and hands-on project delivery, Marian has led multidisciplinary teams across a wide range of sectors – including commercial and retail developments, residential projects, office complexes, and highly regulated life sciences and laboratory environments.
Prior to joining Pivotal International, Marian served as a Director at White Young Green Ltd, where she led the firm’s Project Management, Building Surveying, and Health & Safety departments. In this capacity, she was instrumental in shaping the operational structure of the practice, overseeing major development projects, and ensuring the successful integration of safety, cost, and quality standards into each project lifecycle. Her leadership was key to the delivery of high-value, multi-stakeholder projects across diverse markets.
Marian’s core expertise spans a broad spectrum of project management disciplines including; project programming, construction management, cost engineering, funding strategy, subcontractor coordination and risk management. Her ability to balance technical precision with strategic foresight has consistently led to the successful delivery of complex and time-sensitive projects in dynamic environments.
A skilled communicator and team leader, Marian brings a collaborative and adaptive approach to every engagement. Her career has taken her across Ireland, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Puerto Rico and the United States. She has led international project teams, engaged with diverse regulatory environments, and skilfully navigated cultural and language differences to maintain clear alignment between stakeholders and delivery teams. Her global perspective and cultural fluency have been invaluable in executing multi-jurisdictional projects with precision and diplomacy.
Marian is also highly proficient in Primavera project planning software and is experienced in the use of advanced risk management tools such as Monte Carlo simulation, Pert Master, and @Risk, enabling her to assess potential project uncertainties and proactively develop mitigation strategies. Her analytical skillset and methodical planning approach ensure early identification of potential challenges, leading to optimised project outcomes and minimised exposure to risk.
