Kevin Rudden is the Chairman of a leading multidisciplinary architecture and engineering consultancy with operations across Ireland, Europe and the Middle East. With a career spanning over 40 years, Kevin brings deep industry knowledge, international perspective and strategic vision to the company’s leadership. He is a Chartered Engineer, a Registered Consulting Chartered Engineer and a member of the Association of Consulting Engineers of Ireland.
As Chairman of Pivotal International, Kevin plays a key role in steering the organisation’s long-term growth, governance and global partnerships. His focus is on ensuring that the company remains at the forefront of innovation, sustainability, and technical excellence across all sectors in which it operates – including commercial, residential, infrastructure, healthcare, hospitality and mixed-use developments.
Under his chairmanship, the firm has expanded its geographic footprint and service offering, delivering high-profile, complex projects in diverse cultural and regulatory environments. Kevin is a strong advocate for integrated design and interdisciplinary collaboration, helping to drive holistic solutions that combine architectural creativity with engineering precision.

Kevin has extensive experience in the planning, design, procurement, cost control and implementation of large-scale civil and structural engineering projects. He has been responsible for the planning, design and supervision of the construction of a variety of Business Parks, Airport Developments, Pharmaceutical Plants, Healthcare and Manufacturing facilities.
Kevin has acted as convenor of the Association of Consulting Engineers of Ireland/Engineers Ireland Joint Committee on Health and Safety Construction Legislation since 2005, and has been responsible for co-ordinating the activities of these Institutions in relation to safety and health. Kevin is a member of “Construction Safety Partnership” and the “Construction Advisory Council”, both Cross Industry Body on Health & Safety. He is a member of the “Joint Safety Advisory Panel on the Safe-T-Cert Scheme. Kevin also represents the European Federation of Consulting Engineers Associations on the European Construction Safety Forum. Kevin has lectured intensely on safety and health legislation and has both co-developed and now co-presents the ACEI / Engineers Ireland designer and project supervisor for the design process (PSDP) courses.
Kevin also holds a diploma in Legal Studies and is heavily involved in services to the Legal and Financial professions. Kevin was a former executive member and treasurer of the Association of Consulting Engineers of Ireland (ACEI).
